Autumn has arrived! The suns strength is diminishing, the nights are already drawing in and the vibrant colours of summer are turning into the mellow shades of autumn. As always in Britain whatever the season, we can experience evidence of the other three all in the same day. Take today for instance. Rain, Sun, Hail, Thunder and Lightning. Well can’t say we ever get bored. And after all isn’t being English particularly, all about discussions on the weather.
I have recently been inspired by a very artistic and talented lady I know (MJ Parmentier - find her on Facebook and at www.syllabubble.co.uk ) who has created some wonderful collages. Her artwork, along with the change in season and the coming of winter prompted me to think about the passage of time. Particularly this year, with the ongoing Pandemic, lockdown and restrictions pressing on our minds and changing the way we have been able to live our lives.
So, I have been a little creative myself and the following photos collectively express how things in nature change over time and that nature prevails and life continues anew.
