ABOUT US
We are Garry and Caroline and after 40 years raising a family and working we decided to retire from our careers and have a total change in lifestyle.
We both enjoyed travelling, exploring and experiencing different things and with our new found freedom we wanted to be able to take off whenever we liked.
So after some research and a 'try before you buy' – we took the plunge and ordered our T5 Campervan conversion from Camperking.
We named ‘him’ Hygge – a Danish word with many definitions:- cosiness, charm, happiness, contentment, security, familiarity, comfort, reassurance, simpleness
For us Hygge is all about

Two years on we decided to start this site because we wanted to share our experiences into unknown territory.
Our blogs will not just cover our trips and our travel experiences, we will also include stories and thoughts on life and retirement. We hope you enjoy them.
